Ik heb altijd wel graag een bruine huid gehad, dus de winter is dan ook wel het seizoen dat ik het minst leuk vind op dat vlak. De winter maakt me zo enorm wit! Daarom dat ik af en toe wel eens naar een zelfbruiner durf te grijpen, ook al vind ik dat ze soms vrij duur zijn. Vooral op feestdagen of als ik naar een speciale gelegenheid moet, voel ik me toch een stuk zekerder met een bruin tintje.
I've always loved having tanned skin, so the Winter is the most annoying season for me when it comes to that. The Winter makes me so pale! That's why I sometimes decide to use a self tanner, although they are quite expensive sometimes. Especially on holidays or when I have to go to a special party, I feel more confident when my skin is a bit tanned.
Ik had al heel veel goede reviews gelezen over de zelfbruiners van St. Tropez en het leek zelfs dat dit merk bij de betere zelfbruiners behoort. Ik wou deze zelfbruiners heel graag uitproberen, maar jammer genoeg zijn ze - voor zover ik weet - niet te koop in België. Toen ik in december in Londen was, kwam ik hen toevallig tegen in een winkeltje 'Superdrug' midden in Camden Town. Toen ik zag dat deze zelfbruiner slechts +/- 13 pond kostte, besloot ik hem meteen mee te nemen. Als je dit product van 240 ml online bestelt, ben je namelijk minstens dubbel zoveel geld kwijt. En oh boy, ik kan echt niet genoeg zeggen hoe blij ik ben met dit product!
I've already read a lot of good reviews about the self tanners from St. Tropez and it seemed to me that this brand had one of the best self tanners out there. I've wanted to try these self tanners really bad, but unfortunately they aren't for sale in Belgium. When I was in London in December, I found these self tanners by chance in a little store called 'Superdrug' in the middle of Camden Town. When I saw that they were for sale for only +/- 13 pond, I immediately decided to take them with me. If you buy this product of 240 ml online, you'll have to pay at least twice as much. And oh boy, I can't tell you enough how much I love this product!
Het product zelf heeft een bruine substantie, wat er op het eerste zicht een beetje raar uit ziet, maar wat bij de meeste zelfbruiners wel het geval is. Je moet deze zelfbruiner in circulerende bewegingen aanbrengen op de huid, enkele minuten laten drogen en je hebt een licht getinte huid voor de 2 tot 3 komende dagen! Hieronder zie je het verschil voor en na het aanbrengen van de zelfbruiner. Ook al is dit de lichtste kleur van zelfbruiner, toch zie je al een enorm verschil. Ik heb deze zelfbruiner intussen al enkele keren gebruikt en telkens ik deze zelfbruiner draag, kreeg ik steeds complimenten over mijn huid van vrienden en familie. Zeker een aanrader!
The product itself has a brown substance, what looks a bit weird, but almost every self tanner has this brown texture. You have to apply this self tanner in circular motions on your skin, let it dry for a few minutes and you are good to go for the next 2 to 3 days! Below you can see a comparison between the before and after shot that I made. Althought this is the lightest color of self tanner, you can already see a big difference. I've used this self tanner a few times already and every time I wore it, I've always had compliments on my skin from friends and family. Definitely a musthave!

DeleteHey Annelies, I really don't have a lot of experience with self tanners, but THIS LOOKS GREAT! It's subtle and very credible, but the difference is beautiful! I've heard good things about the brand in general. Glad to hear it worked out for you!
