Een tijdje geleden kreeg ik de kans enkele productjes uit te testen van het merk Amanprana. Zelf had ik nog nooit gehoord van dit merk, maar toch wou ik het eens een kans geven. Zelf testte ik het serum en ook de kokosolie. Benieuwd wat ik ervan vond?

A while ago I got the chance to test out some products of the brand Amanprana. I've had never heard of this brand before, but I wanted to give it a shot. I tested the serum and the coconut oil. Curious what I think about these products?

Het eerste product dat ik toegestuurd kreeg, was het Shangri-la anti-aging orac serum. Met mijn 21 jarige leeftijd wou ik dit product niet meteen testen omwille van het anti-aging effect, maar daarnaast belooft het ook nog enkele andere dingen toe doen met je huid: het beschermt je huid tegen invloeden van buitenaf, het vermindert de rimpels, het geeft je een gezonde en stralende huid, zorgt voor een betere huiddoorbloeding, geeft een jongere en gezondere uitstraling, zorgt voor een strakkere huid, vervaagt pigmentvlekken en huidveroudering, reinigt de onzuivere huid en beschermt tegen oxidatie van de huid. Een hele lijst beloftes als je het mij vraagt!

The first product I got, was the Shangri-la anti-aging orac serum. I'm only 21 years old, so I couldn't really test out the anti-aging effect, but I could test out a lot more other promises: it protects your skin against external influences, it reduces wrinkles, it gives you a healthy and radiant skin, it improves blood circulation, it gives you a younger and healthier appearance, it creates a tighter skin, it fades pigmentation spots and skin aging, it clears out your blemishes and protects it against oxidation of the skin. A whole lot of promises if you ask me!

Bij het openen van het doosje was ik wel onder de indruk van de originele verpakking. Zo staat er op de binnenkant van het doosje alles wat je moet weten over het serum. De felle groene kleur geeft het product onbewust een frisse uitstraling en ook het koele flesje zorgt ervoor dat het product steeds fris aanvoelt. Geen klagen wat betreft de originele verpakking!

When opening the box I have to say I was kind of impressed by the original packaging. On the inside of the box you can read all the information about this serum. The bright green color gives it a fresh look and also the cold bottle makes sure the product itself will always be cold which gives you a nice feeling on the skin. No complaints concerning the original packaging!

Zoals ik al zei, was het voor mij niet makkelijk om het anti-aging effect te testen, maar de andere beloftes wou ik gerust eens uittesten. Op de verpakking raadt men aan 3 tot 5 druppels Shangri-la met je vingertoppen aan te brengen op de oogcontouren, gezicht, hals en decolleté. Zo gezegd, zo gedaan. Bij mij was het verschil na enkele weken niet echt heel groot, maar dat kan je ook moeilijk verwachten na een serum enkele weken te gebruiken. Ik merkte sommige dagen wel dat mijn huid er stralender en strakker uitzag, maar of het echt grote wonderen deed voor mijn huid was niet meteen duidelijk te merken. Misschien dat dit product toch eerder iets is voor de iets oudere vrouw die kan testen of het anti-aging effect echt werkt.

Like I said, it wasn't easy for me to test the anti-aging effect, but I was prepared to test the other promises. On the packaging it recommended to apply 3 to 5 drops of Shangri-la with your fingertips around the eyes and on the face, neck and décolleté. So I did what it said. I have to say the difference after a few weeks wasn't that big, but honestly you can't expect a big difference after using a serum for only a few weeks. I noticed that my skin looked more radiant and tighter on some days, but I don't think it made such a big of a difference for my skin. I think this product would be more effective for older women who can test if the anti-aging effect works.

Als tweede product kreeg ik ook de kokosolie van Amanprana thuisgestuurd. Zoals je al in één van mijn vorige artikels kon lezen ben ik een grote fan van kokosolie. Het is zo'n veelzijdig product dat je er volgens mij nooit genoeg van in huis kan hebben. Met dit product van Amanprana was ik dan ook meer dan tevreden!

As the second product I got the coconut oil from Amanprana. Like I already said in one of my older articles, I'm a big fan when it comes to coconut oil. It's such a versatile product that you can never have enough of it. It's not a surprise that I was more than happy when I got this Amanprana coconut oil!
